GayReviews is an independent review site covering the apps gay men actually use to meet each other — dating apps, hookup apps, and cruising platforms. We started it because most “reviews” of these apps are either thin affiliate bait or app-store marketing copy. We think you deserve better: real assessments with real downsides included.

Hands-on reviews
Every review is based on actually using the app, including its free and paid tiers. We write about what the experience is like, not what the marketing page claims.
Pros and cons, always
Every app on this site has real downsides, and we list them. We deliberately don't use numeric scores — a number tells you less than an honest explanation of who an app is right for and who should skip it.
No sponsored rankings
No app can pay for placement, a better review, or the removal of criticism. Our outbound links go to each app's official website. See our advertising disclosure for how the site is funded.
Kept up to date
Apps change fast. Each review shows the date it was last updated, and we revisit reviews when apps ship major changes.
